Legal Counsel - World's Leading Financial Group A prestigious financial services institution are seeking a legal counsel to join their team in London

The role:

  • Within the Legal Corporate & Litigation team
  • Focus will be on litigation, regulatory proceedings, competition law, employment law and general corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance to the business, support and control functions, and senior management to avoid and mitigate legal risks related to business decisions, operations and projects
  • Provide legal advice on, participate in and implement Firm transactions, proceedings, actions, projects and initiatives
  • Manage the relationship, selection, retention and related costs of external legal advisors

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister
  • University degree or equivalent, including a Law degree from a top law school or university
  • At least 4 years post qualification experience in advising on contentious matters, either in regulatory, competition or complex commercial litigation (in-house or at a law firm).
